THE 1% CLUB NEW SATURDAY, 8.30 PM, ITV QUIZ SHOW
Lee Mack is a busy bee this week. As well as being at It he helm of BBCi's celebrity survival series Freeze the Fear with Wim Hof (see our feature, p6) and starring in sitcom Not Going Out, the popular actor and comedian is also hosting a new ITV quiz show, The 1% Club.
A game of logic and common sense, each episode begins with 100 contestants who are faced with a series of increasingly difficult questions. To make it to the end for a chance to win up to £100,000, the hopefuls must correctly answer a question only 1% of the country would get right.
'It's great because all ages can play along at home,' says Lee, 53. 'If like me, your lack of general knowledge frustrates you, watch this and you can be frustrated by your lack of logic instead!'
Here, Lee tells us more...
