Old People’s Home for 4 Year Olds at Christmas

MONDAY / C4 / 9.00PM

It’s estimated that there are 1.2 million lonely older people in the UK, and sadly more than 200,000 sometimes go for weeks on end without any contact with another person.

But for the residents of St Monica’s retirement home in Bristol, this Christmas will be full of festive cheer as they’ve been reunited with all 10 pre-schoolers from C4’s heart-warming Old People’s Home for 4 Year Olds for a seasonal special.

The original two-part series revealed how turning the home into a nursery full of boisterous kids transformed the health and well-being of its elderly residents.

And now the little ones are back at St Monica’s, hoping to bring some joy with a snow-filled party and a very special carol concert!

Retirement home resident Zina Wilson, 77, tells us more…

How has your life changed since you first met the four-year-olds?
