DEATH IN PARADISE

FRIDAY / BBC1 / 9PM / EP 4 of 8 / DRAMA

Hustler-turned-cop Marlon Pryce may still be learning the ropes when it comes to the finer points of policing, but he’s definitely top of the class at making his colleagues smile!

In this Friday’s episode of BBC1’s Death in Paradise, the sparky officer – played by Tahj Miles – discovers new recruit Sergeant Naomi Thomas (Shantol Jackson) has been keeping quiet about her birthday and resolves to give her a day to remember.

Since joining the cast last year, Tahj, 20, has become a favourite with fans of the Caribbean-set crime drama and here, in an exclusive interview, he tells TV Times why he loves his job…

How did you find joining the show mid-run, last year?

It’s the first time I’ve been on a project this big, as well as filming abroad for so long.

My first season went by in a flash because I was enjoying it.

It’s hard not to have fun when you’re filming in the Caribbean!
