Flo and Liam tell us how they got on as housemates for a week…

With many of Britain’s young adults struggling to buy their own home and over three million of our pensioners living alone, gaps between the generations seem to get wider every day…

But new five-part C4 series Lodgers for Codgers looks at a possible solution – pairing older homeowners looking for company with youngsters who want to get on the property ladder.

The seniors will offer reduced rent to help their housemates save for a deposit, and, hopefully, come to a greater mutual understanding.

Among those taking part is Flo, who’ll be welcoming Liam into her three-bed Brighton townhouse.

TV Times caught up with the two of them to ask how it went.
