Things between Shona and David are great. But there’s a permanent blot on their happy horizon: her jailbird son Clayton. Thanks to him, David lost his wife Kylie, who was fatally stabbed by the teenager.

This week, Shona visits Clayton in prison to tell him his dad has died from an overdose. It turns out he already knows – but the terrified lad has another problem. He’s being bullied and wants his mum to help him get moved to an open prison.
