The British actress plays detective inspector Lisa Donckers in the BritBox series Professor T, a remake of the Belgian show of the same name.
Emma, who was also in the hit Netflix series Bridgerton, co-stars with Ben Miller – Bridgerton’s Lord Featherington – who plays the title character, criminology professor Jasper Tempest, an eccentric, brilliant man with OCD and a tortured past.
Lisa, a past student of the professor’s, ropes him in to help her investigate a serial rapist who’s started attacking women on Cambridge University campus after a 10-year hiatus.
BECOMING LISA Emma was on the set of Bridgerton when she got the call that she’d landed the role of Lisa.
The actress, who’s mostly worked in theatre, said she was “in the trailer, sitting in a corset waiting to go on set and I got the call. I couldn’t believe it, I was gobsmacked”.
