She’s freaked out after her Paris attack. He’s having a meltdown. Is this the end of the road for Kimye?
SEPARATELY they were quite something: she with her look-at-me wardrobe, endless selfies and social media-mad sisters; he with his platinum-selling albums, you-gotta-have- ’em sneakers and unpredictable edge.
Together they were Kimye – glamorous, successful and crazy about each other. Pounced on by the paparazzi wherever they went, these two knew how to appeal to the celeb-crazed masses and keep them coming back for more.
But things haven’t been going so well for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West lately – and those in the know are predicting this could even be the end of Brand Kimye.
Kim (36) has all but vanished from the public eye – by Kardashian standards, anyway – since her highly publicised Paris robbery ordeal in October. And Kanye (39) seems to be unravelling at the edges.
Their marriage is taking strain, sources say. Kim feels Kanye hasn’t been supportive enough since her attack, opting to go on tour instead of staying at home to help her recover like she wanted him to.
By all accounts, Kanye should have heeded his wife’s request. The rapper is “spiralling out of control”, his friends say, and his recent bizarre behaviour backs this up.
Kanye spent the American Thanksgiving holiday in hospital undergoing psychiatric evaluation after he started behaving erratically at the home of his personal trainer.
Someone called 911 and police and paramedics rushed to the scene where Kanye – apparently agitated and uncooperative – was seen leaving the premises handcuffed to a stretcher.
Kim did what all the Kardashians do when their men are in trouble (and that’s happened a lot): she dropped what she was doing – attending a gala in New York – and rushed to his bedside.
