Different Stroke

The Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) hosted an IVY League Overnight Picnic on Saturday, August 05, 2017 at the Radisson Blu Resort & Spa Karjat, Maharashtra. This IVY League meeting was planned very differently keeping in mind the families of the members too. The focus for this edition of the IVY League was ‘unwind’. The members and their families not only got a chance to get away from their stressful life for a day but CMAI had also planned a series of activities and Team Building workshops to help them connect better with each other throughout their entire span of stay at the Venue. Anurima Das reports.

Different Stroke
The stage was set at the Radisson Blu Resort & Spa Karjat, Maharashtra as the Members started arriving with their spouses and children on Saturday, August 05, 2017. They were notified earlier about the itinerary of their stay and advised to follow a dress code pertaining to a pre decided theme, for different hours of the day, as a list of interactive and team building activities were lined up for them at the Resort. The Members were surely up for a surprise as CMAI had poured in much thought and planning to keep them relaxed, yet engage them with several motivational tasks during their stay here at the venue. The IVY League Members started arriving at the Venue by 11 am and they were welcomed with cane hats and colourful flower garlands. The theme for the morning was ‘Hawaiian Beach’. Smiles galore, little did they know what awaited them at the Poolside.

CONFIDENT PLAY

The Members and their Spouses were welcomed by the Host for the afternoon, Miss Drashti Vajra. She made them comfortable through her charming reception and introduction. Soon after this a quick and short Networking Session was initiated to build familiarity among the guests. Dressed up in floral attires and trendy coordinated beach clothes, the guests looked prepared, ready to begin a great day with some fun games. The Hawaiian Beach theme session began as the men and the women were first divided into separate groups. The womenfolk seemed more enthusiastic and ready to plunge into the adventure ride.
