Satbir is a simple guy who was born and brought up in Ranibagh (Uttarakhand) and shifted to Chandigh in Year 2000 with his family. He belongs to a very down to earth family but with a modern mind set.
They share love, care and respect among each other and for all other members of society in which they dwell. Satbir handles the sales and the marketing of the family business Cheema Boilers Ltd. Whereas Khushleen is a Banker, working with the Royal Bank of Canada. She belongs to Ludhiana, Jamalpur Awana. Her family is same as Satbir’s simple and sober people, connected with their grass roots, welcoming and respecting always.
They come from a background of helping community, right back from the days of when their Great Grand Parents had started school named Bar Khalsa High school at Chak 41, Lyallpur (Faisalabad Pakistan) where Master Tara Singh was the first principal and today it has been upgraded to college and now Khushleen’s Grandfather Sr. Iqbal Singh Grewal is serving the community by treating eyes of needy people. They are sober and clear hearted family with high reputation in society.
As we all know that marriage is not only between individuals but marriage is between families too, so yes in their case we can say that both the families have found an appropriate and suitable match for each other.
While giving their take on arrange marriage Satbir and Khushleen said, “We both always wanted to give our parents preference and we opted for Arrange Marriage. At the end of the day it doesn’t matter if it is a love marriage or arrange marriage as the marriage needs love, care, respect for each other and each other’s families”.
