New Year’s Eve is around the corner. We all know it.
We all are awaiting it with anxious breath; Ready to dance the evening away. Are we not? Well put on your dancing shoes and try out your steps. But, in the process, there are other things to be kept at the back of the mind. For one, how does one wear make-up for this awesome party? This should be thought of well in advance.
To start with, check out what you are going to wear. Team up your make-up in close co-ordination with what you are going to don. If you are wearing a dressy outfit, one which is really done up a lot, the pancake with it should be light and classy. Try out neutral tones. This becomes all the more necessary if the dress is heavily sequined or has multiple crystals or stones studded in it. Or else, you will really end up looking too overdone to be called elegant or up-street. The make-up can begin with a base foundation which is a tone lighter than your skin color; Then the primer, then the blusher and works. If the dress is red or black in color, you can try red shade of lip stain but keep the rest of the pancake in minimal color tones.
These days, it is also essential to make sure that make-up or at least some sort of polish cover up whichever part of the body is left uncovered. If you are donning a short number, wear fishnet stockings with it. They look uber-chic. If you are leaving your legs and thighs as they are, try to dab on some lotion or foundation on them to give them a layer of make-up base. Try to match the color of your gown or dress with the make-up on your face. If the gown is black or blue, make sure to have the right amount of pancake on your facial features as well. You should not look too pale or underdone.
...take care of the eye makeup well...
