Over the past two years, we've been ( bouncing on an emotional see-saw when it comes to foundation. Swept along by Gen Z's higher level of self-acceptance during the pandemic, we largely turned our backs on that old lover: full-coverage base. Rather than airbrush over our natural skin texture, we got to grips with a shiny new skincare routine that could actually improve it.
But now that our social lives are returning to normal, and we're less inclined to skip makeup altogether, it's only understandable that we want a fresh romance.
