Korean marque Hyundai has launched Hyundai Kona – named after the Kona district on the Big Island of Hawaii – a brand new B-segment SUV. And, the good news is Hyundai Sime-Darby Motors (HSDM) has brought this modern-looking vehicle to Malaysia with three variants to choose from: Kona 2.0, 2.0 Active and 1.6 Turbo.
Articulating a new design language that speaks to city dwellers on the go, Hyundai Kona is the definition of a contemporary car which combines outstanding appearance that appeals to an array of drivers, comfort that feels like second home and advanced technology that makes driving a joy. Boasting an expressive front decorated by the brand’s signature cascading grille, its sculpted body is complemented by a low and wide stance features striking design with LED daytime running lights and full-LED headlights. The masculinity of the SUV car is further highlighted by high-contrast fender cladding for the 2.0 Active and 1.6 Turbo variants. The 1.6 turbo version is also matched with an additional two-tone roof and exterior mirrors to bring its style game up a notch.
