NATURAL INSECT DETERRENT

A beautifully scented burner to ward off bugs

YOU WILL NEED

Fresh lemons and limes, fresh rosemary sprigs, essential oils, floating candles

TO MAKE

1 Slice a lemon and lime and add equal amounts to each jar. Then place in a couple of sprigs of rosemary.

2 Add water until the jars are three-quarters full. Next, add 10-20 drops of essential oil; we used a combination of lemon, eucalyptus, citronella, and vanilla. Do not stir the jar.

3 Top up the jar with more water if required, then place a floating candle in each of them

SPA IN A JAR

Treat someone special to homemade bath salts and help them unwind

YOU WILL NEED

Epsom salts, lavender essential oil, dried lavender, small spoon, ribbon

TO MAKE

1 Place your Epsom salts into a mixing bowl and add lavender essential oil. The quantity of salts will vary according to the size/number of jars you are filling. For 500g of salts we used approximately 25 drops of essential oil. Mix in dried lavender as desired.
