Now’s the time to strike cuttings of late-flowering chrysanthemums
Now’s an ideal time to root late-flowering chrysanthemum cuttings from stools that were trimmed in November after flowering and placed in good light. At Christmas I raised the thermostat to 9C (48F) and watered them with 3-1-3 Solufeed at half strength. By January 3, 5mm (¼in) long shoots appeared, which are now 5cm (2in) long.
