It was only a week after founding her own interior design firm that Kate Guinness was called upon by new clients to bring colour and personality to their Notting Hill home. Kate has a knack for creating authentic and lived-in looking schemes, which are achieved by an avoidance of trends and over-styling. She instead anchors her interiors with timeless details that will never age. ‘Creating a home that feels as if it has gradually grown over time is one of the things I pride myself on. With these clients, there was also an accumulating art collection to work with,’ says Kate.
