IFJ: What were your aims or goals in curating KDW? Were you satisfied with the outcome?
TD: To spread the awareness of design and designers. Give artists and designers a platform where they could showcase their talent to people in a uniquely beautiful way. Yes, very much. It was our first one and for the first one we were extremely satisfied.
IFJ: How important was ‘Light’ in all of this?
TD: Light for me was the backbone of KDW. Our vision by very nature is the by-product of light. Without light there is no life ! My job was to add light to life and create an ambience which people cannot express by words but just feel blissful because good lighting is always felt before being noticed.
IFJ: What was the thought behind this particular exhibit at Rawdon House?
