Situated in a leafy suburb on the outskirts of Durban, this newly built modern home has been designed for a mature couple to enjoy their retirement years.

Maximising on the encapsulating view of Durban in the distance, the architecture and layout of the home ensure easy living.

The owner says: “Our favorite space in the home is the braai area with its huge fireplace – not just to braai, but also to light a fire for a nice atmosphere. On warm evenings we make a fire at the Lapa and imagine we are in the bush.”
