KRIGE ANGERSON PROFESSIONAL ARCHITECTS (KAPA) 082 297 8807 Krige Angerson Professional Architects (KAPA) is a Joburg-based architectural firm that specialises in all forms of architecture, from residential and commercial to retail and industrial. Keeping a contemporary aesthetic that embraces simple lines and articulated facades, KAPA used a contrast between white and black to enhance the design. This was then softened with timber details.

Based in Gauteng, Splendid Pools is well known for its great workmanship and installation of swimming pools. Achieving an inviting and striking design, Splendid Pools ensured this feature pool and hot spa pool flowed seamlessly from the home to the garden. Flamed granite tiles, Portland Grey Marblite and Oxford Blue glass were used.

Roche Bobois is world renowned for its creative and colourful collections, its collaborations with haute couture houses like Missoni and Jean Paul Gaultier as well as its inimitable ability to produce design pieces for unique homes in South Africa and beyond. Roche Bobois works closely with around 20 designers – among the best in their countries – such as Marcel Wanders, Stephen Burks, and Joana Vasconcelos.

What started out as a renovation to an existing house, this Joburg-based property – that’s situated within a secure luxury estate – was demolished to the ground and rebuilt to better suit the owners, who wanted a contemporary design and a modern living space.

“This property was our dream home project. We have built a few homes in a country style, but we wanted this home to have modern design to fit with our family’s need and lifestyle,” says the owner.
