COLOUR ME SPLENDID!
The Ideal Home and Garden - India|May 2020
Integrating colour into any space can be an intimidating and worrisome prospect, but with a few thoughtful interior touches, you can transform a lacklustre space into a stand-out scheme.
COLOUR ME SPLENDID!

Bold, bright and beautiful colours can be quite polarizing for many. After all, colours are known to psychologically affect different people in different ways. We associate yellow with being a “happy” hue, green with feeling “fresh” or blue with feeling the emotional blues. We try to paint hospitals in cheerful colours to help patients recover faster, we incorporate sober colours in homes to make you feel calmer and we incorporate bright reds in fast food dining chains to make you want to eat and leave faster. There is so much research on colour therapy and it’s use, and how it can impact our day to day life. Then why is it that when we look at homes, for the most part, everyone is still terrified of using colour?
