Payal Singhal
Payal suggests investing in lightweight and delicate fabrics like organza, silks, chanderi, mul, tulle, and crepes to enjoy a summer destination wedding. “Sharara sets, kaftans, anarkalis in pastels and florals are just right for the occasion. Fun, multi-coloured embroidery with mixed materials like mirrors shells, wool, or metallic silver/gold in zardozi are also great elements to play with,” Payal says.
Moreover, Payal believes that the focus of the wedding should be on having fun, while beating the heat. Our lightweight mukaish silk-mul lehenga with a back-tie choli is a fuss-free silhouette to twirl around in. Add some statement jewellery and juttis to finish the look, Payal adds.
