Baile Home is a new home accessories shop in Tarporley, carefully designed to make you feel right at home
‘BAILE Home is the culmination of a five-year dream,’ says Marie-Louise Greenwood, who has opened the shop with her daughter Mary. ‘I have long considered opening my own store in Tarporley and finally instead of talking and dreaming about it Mary and I have finally done it!’
Marie-Louise’s inspiration for her shop stems from her travels around the globe with her husband, Bill, whose business takes him all over the world.
‘We’ve brought together what I would describe as a carefully curated collection of home accessories from all over the world,’ says MarieLouise. ‘Shoppers will find beautiful things from so many different places, but we have tried to select only items that are natural and artisan produced.’
Don’t worry, Baile Home is no slightly strange, ‘pick it up and put it down again selection of oddness’ type of shop. It’s a fabulously eclectic collection of wonderful things that are beautifully designed and beautifully made to give pleasure to the owner for many, many years.
‘It’s all things we have in our own home,’ says Mary. ‘We don’t attempt to buy to suit different tastes, we simply buy things that we love and we can see a place in our own lives for – and hope that others feel the same. So far, it seems to be working!’
