There’s a new, spectacular way to enjoy the Kowloon waterfront, says Saumya Ancheri
The 65-storey Rosewood Hong Kong is the latest star on the iconic Kowloon skyline. The hotel is situated in the upcoming Victoria Dockside arts and design district, and offers eight dining options that add to the buzz on the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront. Best of all, the hotel makes grand use of its plum setting, with most rooms offering harbour views.
Described as “vertical private estate”, the Rosewood Hong Kong occupies 43 floors of the mixed-use skyscraper it is housed in. The hotel’s design is by award-winning New York studios: the tower is by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates while the landscaped lawns, gardens and terraces are the work of American interior designer Tony Chi.
