Smartphones, laptops and other latest gadgets are making the entertainment of choice readily accessible ‘on-the-go' with the help of the internet. Unfortunately, the tech-savvy consumer base today is not utilising this powerful resource called the Internet to its full extent. They often end up wasting their invaluable time on social media, watching viral videos and pranks on Facebook or YouTube. Since this trend does not help in the enhancement of any tech skills or knowledge base, it creates a somewhat incorrect impression that the Internet is transforming smartphones and gadgets into an idiot box. So how can we turn the tables and direct people towards utilising the internet to make everyday life simpler and smarter?
