THE JOY OF JEWELS

Harper's Bazaar: How would you define your personal style?

Aditi Rao Hydari: "It's minimal and effortless. I think my perpetual goal is to look like 'I woke up like this' even when I am wearing a tonne of jewellery and a gharara?"

HB: How has your style evolved post the pandemic?

ARH: "During the pandemic, I started gravitating towards casual styles. And now, my style has become very laid back."

HB: Are there any style icons who have inspired you?

ARH: "I really admire Audrey Hepburn's effortless style."

HB: Do you invest in vintage pieces?

ARH: "I love history, art, and culture, so I love heirlooms. But I also believe that women can dream, create their own destiny, and write their own history. That is what I love about Zoya...that they give people a space to create something that is personal, meaningful, and beautifully designed and crafted, which has the potential to turn into an heirloom."

HB: What is your take on sustainability as far as jewellery is concerned?
