From an early age, the pressure was on Irfan Fandi to perform and succeed, but he never cracked under the weight of his father’s legend. It’s no surprise, then, that the taciturn youth found kinship with TAG Heuer and its indomitable spirit.
Congratulations on being named a Friend of TAG Heuer. Are you excited to be working with the brand?
Of course! TAG Heuer approached me as it was looking for young athletes to be local Friends of the brand. The brand is very involved in local sporting activities, especially in football, so I feel honoured to be selected by it.
What qualities do you share with the brand?
One of the first things that come to mind is its tagline “Don’t Crack Under Pressure”. I identify a lot with that as a sportsman, because keeping your cool under pressure is a must-have quality.
