“Gluckstadt is a wonderful place to live with a thriving community,” says Renee Bowman of her hometown in Madison County. As the growth of Gluckstadt has been on a steady rise in recent years, she and her husband, Jim, launched a new event space last fall called The Station.
With 10,000 square feet, the large, open venue is very relatable, and the couple knew it would be an ideal option for wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, corporate events, live music, and so much more. “We felt adding an event space to the area would offer the opportunity to build an even stronger community,” she adds.
“While our look is somewhat industrial, it can absolutely be dressed up,” Bowman explains. Setting The Station apart from other local venues is its décor, which includes a colorful collection of European and American classic automobiles and an assortment of pinball machines—creating a fun, vintage vibe.
