It’s been almost four years since George and Amal Clooney welcomed their adorable twins Alexander and Ella – and far from scratching that itch to be a mum, it’s only made Amal eager for a bigger brood.

Despite conversations that they’d have “at least one more”, time is running out – and now Amal is realizing she’s having to give up on her dream. And it could spell the end of their fairytale romance.

“Amal tried so hard to be patient with George, but they’ve dragged their feet for so long – it will now be nearly impossible to conceive,” says a well-placed source. “Even though he’s in fantastic shape, George is getting less and less interested in having another toddler running around.”
