Masterchef Judge George Calombaris Just Can’t Keep Out of Trouble

A bitter neighbourly dispute has thrown troubled celebrity chef George Calombaris into hot water... again!

The father-of-two has erected a self-contained gym in the backyard of his $4.75 million luxury mansion and the build has set George’s 71-year-old neighbour Helen Elsworth on the warpath!

‘It looks like an outside toilet!’ Helen says of the unsightly construction that can be seen from her bedroom window.

The build has riled Helen to the point she’s lodged a complaint with the Victorian Building Authority (VBA) over the ‘atrocious black box’.

‘He’s arrogant and will bulldoze anything he wants to,’ the outspoken resident tells New Idea exclusively. ‘He’s a nuisance to people. He should live in Central Australia where he’s out of the way of neighbours, to do what he wants to do.’

The ‘gym-drama’ in the upmarket Melbourne suburb of Toorak is just the latest in a long line of legal woes for 39-year-old George.
