What motivates you to do what you do?
I feel strongly about how photography connects us. I believe, almost naively, in the power of storytelling. Growing up, looking at photographs made me feel connected to those whose worlds were oceans away from me—and it made me care about the rest of the world. It filled me with curiosity. This is what I try to showcase through my work. I want to bring forward strong images that tell the story of the issues I care about.
