With enigmatic Australian David Warner holding the reins of the team yet again, the team looks like a formidable unit and would be the one to beat yet again...

That the Indian Premier League (IPL) is one of the biggest T20 tournaments in the world is now a known fact. The championship is entering its tenth season this year and despite the barrage of contro versies and muck it has come up against these past few years, the IPL has done exceptionally well and continues to generate a significant amount of interest among cricket fans all over.

Yes, the interest level and excitement for the tournament is perhaps not as it once used to be; an overkill of IPL-style tournaments virtually everywhere has contributed towards that. However, Indian cricket fans are always thirsty for cricketainment which the IPL is known to provide in ample doses. A good competitive and thrilling start to the tournament is certain to reel back the viewers in hordes.

As we hope to look forward to a terrific tenth season of the IPL this year, let us have a look at all the eight teams participating in the tournament and how they are likely to fare this time round.

SUNRISERS HYDERABAD

The defending champions will be looking for an encore this season too. With enigmatic Australian David Warner holding the reins of the team yet again, the team looks like a formidable unit and would be the one to beat yet again.

Hyderabad, unlike the other fancied teams in the league, relies on all of its players to perform together while captain Warner leads from the front. This, season, too, it would be much the same.
