2020 Draft Profiles: Raekwon Davis



With their second of two second-round picks, the 56th overall, the Dolphins selected Alabama defensive tackle Raekwon Davis.

He was selected with a pick obtained from the New Orleans Saints when the Dolphins traded down in the second round of the 2019 draft.

COLLEGE CAREER

Davis was a four-year letterman who played in 48 games with 32 starts.

He played in seven games as a true freshman in 2016.

Tipped a pass at the line of scrimmage and came down with the interception and a 19-yard return in the 2017 BCS title game against Georgia.

Sacked 2019 first overall pick Kyler Murray in the 2018 national semifinal game.

Had his best statistical season in 2017 when he finished with 69 tackles and 8.5 sacks.

COLLEGE HONORS

Davis was a second-team All-America selection by the AFCA (American Football Coaches Association) in 2019 and a second-team All-SEC selection by the league coaches. ... Second-team All-SEC selection from The Associated Press in 2018. ... First-team All-SEC choice from the league coaches and second-team choice from The Associated Press in 2017.

Davis’ official measurements were 6-6, 311 pounds, arms 33 7 ⁄8 long and 11-inch hands.
