British riders have been doing pretty well this year, haven’t they? Scott Redding had a podium earlier in the year,there was CalCrutchlow's maiden win at Brno, Sam Lowes has scored well in Moto2, his brother Alex got a shot on a MotoGP bike, and just look at the British flags smothering the WSB steps. But how do we keep this progress up, because it’s not always been like this and we don’t want to be heading to the dark old days again…
Well, we've gone to take a look at the first real feeder series for our little ones that can finally rival the breeding grounds found in Spain and Italy. With seven BSB teams helping out, the plan is to create a clear route from novice to champion in a decade. it sounds a long time, but we’re talking about a process that will pump out a polished product by the time GSCE results come out. Even though we have a sea of Brits flooding the world scene the only thing certain in racing is, well, nothing. So with an alliance between the milk company Cool Milk, and the ever popular FAB Racing (the guys responsible for starting countless riders careers (Scott Redding, Danny Kent, Danny Webb) things have really taken off for 2016; and it's bloody good news for us race fans...
