You’re one of the hottest DJs in L.A. right now. What’s it like to have the celebs groove to your tunes?

Well, you know, as the song goes, “Everybody Wants to Rule the World!”

What kind of music do you play?

I’ve always been turned on by music that pulls emotion out of you, while enticing your body to move and your mind to escape. As a DJ, unexpected transitions energise the crowd and that is definitely my thing. I mix cool underground EDM with current hits and original tracks. The goal is sensory overload!

Do you produce all the music you play yourself?

The songwriting process is my favourite part. It all started there for me and it is super important that I get involved in that process with my original music. Yes, I write and co-produce my creations with other eclectic producers. But my DJ sets heavily include tracks from other artistes and DJs. I’m always on the lookout for fresh music and unique remixes.

What are you most proud of when it comes to your Indian roots?

Definitely, determination. My Indian heritage is a fundamental part of who I am. Coming from a country where we pride ourselves on veracity, authenticity and a strong sense of self, it empowers me to ask for the things that I want and not sell myself short.
