Stock Up Stock Down
▲ Kicker Giorgio Tavecchio: With Sebastian Janikowski not coming off injured reserve this season, Tavecchio has an opportunity to show the coaching staff he’s worth keeping around for the long haul. He converted 13 of 16 field goal attempts through 13 games, with one blocked and the misses coming from 35 and 45 yards.
▲ Tight end Jared Cook: On an offense that has been mostly unwatchable for a large chunk of the season, Cook has stood out as the lone bright spot. He has been the only reliable target for Derek Carr to throw to and continues to physically dominate safeties and linebackers who try to cover him. Even when teams know Carr has to throw to him they haven’t been able to slow Cook down.
▲ Running back Marshawn Lynch: Anyone expecting him to be the Beast Mode of old was foolish. That being said, Lynch has ran as well as anyone could have hoped for over the past month. He had 353 of his 619 yards in the first five games after serving a one-game suspension. Lynch had five touchdowns over that same span, although he could have more if offensive coordinator Todd Downing wouldn’t call as many stretch runs as he does when Lynch is in.

NEWS & NOTES
The Raiders had one of the easier schedules in 2020 and got only eight wins to show for it. Things won’t get any easier in 2021, either.
Looking back at 2020 season
The 2020 season will absolutely be remembered for being one of the strangest and most disappointing in franchise history.
Gruden feeling the heat?
“I know there is a big bull’s-eye on my chest, certainly. If the people want to use that as an incentive, then so be it. I worked for Al Davis in 1998. That was pressure. I was 34 years old. I’ve dealt with pressure before. I don’t really feel pressure. I love the excitement and thrill of competing, and I can’t worry about things I can’t control in that regard. I know people will want to step on me and beat me, and that is just the way this league is.”
