When wounded veteran Greg Peete drove from his home in Indiana to Casper, Wyoming, to start his adventure, it didn’t take long to put his first antelope on the ground.
Then it was time to focus on elk. Greg’s guides started early in the morning and covered the steep mountains with the veteran in search of elk. They drove up steep hills, getting to the high country in time to see the rising sun. With the elevation change, the hunters found the other side of the mountain covered in snow.
