The British Toy Soldier Company

Husband and wife team Patrick and Chris Adams – the beating heart of The British Toy Soldier Company (BTSC) – are set to delight their customers with some exciting new releases and reissues.

First up is a brand new 1:32 scale model of a World War I vintage British Thornycroft military truck. The three-ton Thornycroft was powered by a four-cylinder, 6,256cc petrol engine that could develop around 45 brake horsepower. It was rear-wheel drive with a four-speed gearbox.

More than 5,000 were delivered to the British military during the Great War and some vehicles remained in British Army service until 1930.
