Why did a third Hangover movie really make sense? Because Ed [Helms] wanted to buy an island. No, it didn’t make sense, to be honest, at first. I was probably a little hesitant going in, but it seems like it’s wrapping things up nicely, whereas the second one didn’t seem like it was wrapping things up.

There seems to be more action in The Hangover Part III. Do you consider yourself an action star now? I caught myself in the mirror this morning, and no, I don’t feel like an action hero. I felt like we were doing stuff that action heroes do, but we weren’t doing it that well.

Your character Alan says a lot of inappropriate things in his life. What is the weirdest thing you’ve said to a woman in real life? I was slapped in the face once by an Iranian princess. In college. That was fun. I said something to her that I won’t repeat, but I am a gentleman.

Are you like Alan at all? I don’t know if there are that many similarities between us... God, I hope not. But maybe there are that I just don’t even know — maybe I am as dumb as Alan.
