A DERRY artist will tonight unveil a new exhibition of his work.

Derry Artist Unveils A New Exhibition

Joe Campbell has over 35 years’ experience in the arts as a painter, poet, stained glass artist, writer and comic book artist.

Joe has also worked has won a number of Individual Artist Awards from the Arts Council of Northern Ireland and was also a City of Culture Individual Artist in 2013.

He is among one of many artists featuring in one of the many events in the Greater Shantallow Community Arts Communities United Spring Arts Festival which launched yesterday and is running until Sunday, March 19.

Joe will stage a free solo exhibition, ‘Recreational Rioting’, which will be launched tonight at Studio 2 in Skeoge Industrial Estate.

Much of Joe’s work has a surreal quality infused with humour and poignancy featuring Derry as a backdrop.
