TOP boss Kerry Phillips claimed the £1,500 Fantasy Non-League first prize and then declared humbly: “I got lucky”.
Mr Phillips, president of Isthmian Premier Division side Cray Wanderers, made a late surge to the summit of the FNL table with his team ‘Wandering No More’, depicting Cray’s nomadic status since losing their home ground in 1972.
And he believes it was the combination of Sutton United winning the National League and Hartlepool United meeting Torquay United in the Promotion Final which got him over the line.
