REECE TOPLEY admitted his match-winning return to England colours was powered by his "unfinished business" in World Cups and India.
Topley was the only change to the side to face Bangladesh in Dharamsala, a move which paid off brilliantly with the left-armer claiming 4-43 in an emphatic 137-run win.
And for the 29-year-old it went some way to making up for the disappointments of the past that have centred around this country and global tournaments.
Last winter Topley was destined to play a central role in England's T20 World Cup campaign before being injured tripping over a boundary advertising sponge.
Then in India in April he injured his shoulder fielding on his IPL debut and had to go back home for more rehab.
Going back further, Topley played in the 2016 T20 World Cup in India, but had a poor couple of games while carrying a shoulder problem.
