AZ Prof Shames The Vaccine's Doubters

A SCIENTIST who worked on the AstraZeneca vaccine has said that critics of the jab "probably killed hundreds of thousands of people" by ruining its reputation.

The Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine was approved in the UK in December 2020 and quickly became one of the most used jabs, alongside Moderna and Pfizer.

But months later, advisors to the UK government suggested that under-30s should be offered a different vaccine due to an extremely rare side effect of blood clots forming.
