Scotland is heading for a health crisis with more than 28,000 patients waiting a year or more for hospital treatment as the NHS tries to tackle coronavirus.
Labour’s health spokeswoman Jackie Baillie told Health Secretary Humza Yousaf there was “no time to dither and delay” and demanded a new strategy to avert disaster.
And a leading charity predicted a looming cancer epidemic if the waiting times crisis is not tackled.
