Prison chiefs investigate messages from jail

An evil sex beast who raped and battered three women has launched a twisted freedom bid from behind bars – by sending bizarre emails to the Daily Record.

Thomas Montguire, who was convicted of an eight-year reign of terror, was given a lifelong restriction order in 2014 and told he must serve at least 10 years before he is eligible for parole.

Montguire put his victims through ordeals involving “control, jealousy and escalating violence”.

The thug used various weapons against the women – including a samurai sword, a Stanley knife, a screwdriver and even a soup ladle.

The court heard that the author of a risk assessment report on Montguire said he was unable to recommend any treatment for him.

But the 38-year-old, who continued to terrorise his victims from prison, has launched a feeble attempt to prove his conviction is unsafe in a series of bizarre emails seen by the Daily Record.
