CBI To Approach Singapore, UAE As Part Of Probe Against Talwar

The federal agency, as part of its continuing probe against Talwar, has found that he acted as middleman in negotiations of determining reciprocal air traffic rights through bilateral agreements between India and several foreign countries including the UAE, Qatar and Malaysia, for which agency suspects he got "kickbacks" from the airlines, the people added, asking not to be named.

Deported from Dubai in January 2019, Talwar is being investigated in multiple cases related to corruption in aviation deals and a case involving violation of the terms of FCRA (foreign contribution registration act) by his organization, Advantage India. Upon his deportation, ED arrested him in 2019.
