Cost Of Living Crisis Has Got Nothing On Our Rip-Off Republic

It's funny but what the rest of Europe is calling the “Cost of Living Crisis”, in Ireland is called just “living”.

Seriously lads, while the Germans, French, Spanish and Italians are running around the place shouting at their politicians and freaking out about price rises, here in Ireland we’re a little calmer because it’s business as usual.

The latest in a long line of reports highlighting just how badly we have been ripped off, for so long, has just come out, with our own Central Statistics Office confirming that Ireland is the second most expensive country in the Eurozone for food and alcohol.

We can look forward to the CSO’s report later this week confirming that, yes, the Pope does indeed wear funny hats.
