WITH a rating of only 2.7 stars and scores of negative Google reviews, Store Street Car Park did not sound like the ideal place to leave your beloved motor.
The huge car park, between Piccadilly train station and Piccadilly Basin, has a total of 406 spaces available.
Its website boasts that the car park, which is open seven days a week, 24 hours a day, is 'ideal for commuters and visitors who need an easy-access place to leave their vehicle.
But with Google reviews ranging from furious customers believing they had been fined unfairly, to motorists claiming their cars had been broken into, to complaints of lack of security, an abundance of potholes and warnings about being vigilant - I couldn't help but wonder what I would find.
I found my way to the foreboding-sounding car park which was just off Sparkle Street.
