Delhi's Pvt Hospitals Offer Home-Isolation Packages To Patients

Remote consultancy and home care is fast turning into a viable alternative as the coronavirus pandemic continues to flatten the available medical infrastructure in the country. Private hospitals in Delhi are now offering home care packages to novel coronavirus patients with mild symptoms who are eligible for home isolation.

Delhi's Pvt Hospitals Offer Home-Isolation Packages To Patients

The home care package launched by Max Healthcare is priced at Rs 5,000 (without BP machine) and Rs 7,000 (with BP machine) for a period of 15 days. Fortis Healthcare's home care plan is priced at Rs 6,000 for 17 days while Medanta's package starts at Rs 4,900 for 15 days.

MAX HEALTHCARE

Max Healthcare package includes a vitals' monitoring kit that is sent to patients, including a digital thermometer, an oximeter for measuring oxygen levels in the blood, and a digital BP measuring machine. A nurse will call the patient twice each day for vital monitoring, follow-up and feedback. A doctor will then review the case with the patient every few days.

Our home care packages are meant for tested COVID-positive patients with mild or no symptoms who are eligible for home isolation. These symptoms can include mild fever, headache, sore throat, fatigue, etc, said Dr Rommel Tickoo, Associate Director of Internal Medicine at Max Healthcare.
