THE Lok Sabha witnessed high drama on Friday over Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s ‘danda’ jibe at PM Narendra Modi during a recent election rally in the Capital.
During the Question Hour, as the Congress MP from Wayanad posed a question to the Health Ministry on medical colleges in his constituency, Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan chose to put the MP on the mat first.
The Health Minister said, “At the outset, I want to condemn in no uncertain terms the recent outlandish words he (Rahul Gandhi) used against the Prime Minister. His own father was PM and I don’t think our party leaders in the worst circumstances have used such outlandish language against a PM.”
