Teachers Lead The Fight Against Covid

30k teachers from govt schools have been working with medics to deliver help amid the crisis

Not only doctors, but Delhi government school teachers have also turned Covid-19 warriors to fight the menace.

More than 5,000 teachers deployed on the Covid duty have tested positive. Moreover, a total of seven teachers, including three MCD and four Delhi government, have succumbed to coronavirus so far.

30,000 teachers from the Delhi government schools and another 7,000 from municipal corporation schools have been engaged to help the government’s efforts to tackle the outbreak and ease the impact of the lockdown.

Teachers roles vary from pitching in with ration distribution to serving shifts at quarantine centres and doing survey with medical teams of corona positive families from one to another location.
