Giorgio Armani donated $1.4 million to Milan and Rome hospitals, as well as to the Italian Civil Protection agency directly responding to the outbreak. Gucci’s chief executive officer Marco Bizarri donated more than $100,000 to Emilia-Romagna hospitals situated in central-northern Italy, where many infected patients reside.
